Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how Media & More Contracting Ltd uses cookies and similar storage on this website, and how you can choose which ones are used.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technology, such as your browser's local storage, can hold small pieces of information in the same way. We call all of these "cookies" on this page.

Your choice

When you first visit, a bar at the bottom of the page asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing beyond the essential storage below is used until you press Accept. If you press Reject, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Essential storage (always on)

• Shopping basket. Remembers the items in your basket in your browser's local storage. The shop cannot work without it.
• Your cookie choice. Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask on every page.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how people find and use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether an enquiry form was sent. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last for up to two years, and may also set _gid (24 hours) and _gat (about one minute). We do not use advertising cookies. Google acts as our processor for this and the information may be processed outside the UK. You can read more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Payment providers

If you pay through PayPal or Stripe at checkout, those companies may set their own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. These are covered by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies. If you clear your browser's storage, your basket will be emptied and we will ask for your cookie choice again.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. If you have any questions, contact us at info@mediaandmore.co.uk or on 01737 400061.
