Information we collect
We may collect and process the following information:
- Details you give us when you fill in our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, how you prefer to be contacted, what your enquiry is about and your message.
- Order details if you buy from our online shop: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, what you ordered and, for leavers hoodies, any name you ask us to print.
- Technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records in its server logs.
- How you use the site, through analytics cookies, but only if you accept them. See our Cookies Policy.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide the services or products you have asked for.
- Process and deliver online orders.
- Keep records of our dealings with you and manage our relationship.
- Improve our website and services.
- Send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it, or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
Our lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, or for our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers below, who help us run this website and our shop, and only as far as each one needs it to do its job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Who handles your data for us
- Netlify hosts this website and runs the code that starts a payment. Every visit passes through Netlify's servers, which record technical details such as your IP address.
- Formspree receives the messages you send through our contact form and passes them to our inbox.
- Stripe takes card payments in our shop. When you check out with a card, you enter your name, email address, phone number, address and card details on Stripe's secure payment page. We never see your full card number.
- PayPal takes payment if you choose to pay with PayPal. PayPal handles your login and payment details, and tells us the order has been paid.
- Resend sends the emails we write to you about your order, such as the message confirming we have received it and the one telling you it has been dispatched.
- Supabase stores the record of your shop order (your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, any order note and what you ordered), so we can prepare and deliver it and keep a record of it.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces this website uses. To show them, your browser fetches them from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics help us understand how people find and use the site. They only run if you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your mind at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy as well as its agreement with us.
Data sent outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where your personal data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK's data adequacy regulations or the international data transfer agreements the provider has signed.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or as required to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and request that we transfer it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mediaandmore.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. For details of the cookies we use and how to manage them, please see our Cookies Policy.
